Serves 6

  • 1 (12 oz.) package seasoned pork sausage
  • 4 cups Pictsweet frozen Vegetables Del Sol
  • 2 tablespoons cooking sherry
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons pineapple preserves
  • Rice or Chinese noodles


In a skillet, cook sausage until browned; drain. Place frozen vegetables in a saucepan and cover with water. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain. Combine sausage and vegetables in saucepan. Blend together remaining ingredients. Pour over sausage and vegetables and stir until well coated. Heat to serving temperature. May be served over hot rice or Chinese noodles.
