Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 1 (6 oz.) package dried apricots
  • 1 (12 oz.) can apricot nectar
  • 3 cups Pictsweet frozen Deluxe Whole Baby Carrots
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Directions

Soak dried apricots in apricot nectar overnight. Place frozen carrots in saucepan and cover with water. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes and drain. Place carrots in a greased 2-quart dish. Top with half the apricots and nectar. Sprinkle with half the brown sugar and dot with half the butter. Sprinkle with half the sliced almonds. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until bubbly.
