Serves 8

  • 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen Seasoning Blend
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups Pictsweet frozen Okra and Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Pictsweet frozen Baby Lima Beans
  • 1 cup Pictsweet frozen Cut Corn
  • 1/2 cup uncooked, instant rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


In a large Dutch oven, sauté frozen seasoning blend in melted butter until tender. Add broth and frozen vegetables. Bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Stir in rice and pepper. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
