Marinated Brussels Sprouts

Serves 12

  • 6 cups Pictsweet frozen Brussels Sprouts
  • 1/4 cup raw minced onion
  • 1/2 cup Tarragon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Dash of Tabasco


Mince the onion finely. Place frozen Brussels sprouts in saucepan and cover with water. Place uncovered saucepan on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain. Prepare marinade by mixing together onion, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and Tabasco. Pour marinade over sprouts while they are hot. Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours before serving. Drain and serve.
