Serves 8

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 1 (1 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 (46 oz.) can V-8 juice (spicy version is good)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese


Cook ground beef in a skillet until meat is browned. Drain. In a Dutch oven, combine mixed vegetables, onion soup mix, V-8 juice and cooked meat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with grated cheddar cheese on top.
