Serves 8

  • 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen Seasoning Blend
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) undrained, diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups Pictsweet frozen Cut Okra
  • 1 cup Pictsweet frozen Baby Lima Beans
  • 1 cup Pictsweet frozen Cut Corn
  • 1/2 cup uncooked instant rice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


In a large pot, melt butter. Sauté frozen Seasoning Blend in butter for 4 minutes. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, cut okra, lima beans and cut corn. Bring mixture to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Stir in rice, salt and pepper. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables and rice are tender.
