Spinach Spaghetti

An easy and tempting pasta dish for a light lunch or dinner. Put a little nonstick spray in the boiling water before adding pasta so it won't stick together during cooking.

Serves 4

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pine nuts
  • 1/2 pound cooked spaghetti noodles


Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Make a white sauce by melting butter and stirring in flour and salt. Add milk and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add chopped spinach and continue cooking for 15 minutes. Add the cheese and nuts and heat until cheese is melted. Serve over spaghetti noodles.
