Ingredients

Serves 8

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup half and half cream
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups Pictsweet frozen Sliced Mushrooms

Directions

Melt the butter over low heat. Stir in salt and flour and cook for 5 minutes. Gradually stir in cream until the sauce is smooth. Add the broth and water. Continue cooking over low heat until the sauce thickens and bubbles. Add mushrooms and simmer 5 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked.
