Serves 3

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Pictsweet frozen Steam'ables Asparagus Spears
  • Marinade:
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pimento
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion


Steam Asparagus following package directions. For marinade: combine oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, green pepper, parsley, pimento and chopped green onion in a shallow non-metallic bowl. Add the cooked asparagus, tossing to coat. Cover and marinate for several hours in the refrigerator.
