Serves 8

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup Pictsweet frozen Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 cup Pictsweet frozen Chopped Green Peppers
  • 4 cups Pictsweet frozen Baby Cut Okra
  • 2 (14.5 oz.) cans undrained, diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


In large skillet, melt butter. Sauté frozen onions and peppers for 4 minutes. Add frozen okra, diced tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Do not overcook.
