Serves 8

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Pictsweet frozen Sliced Carrots
  • 1 large sliced green apple
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter


Place frozen carrots in a saucepan and cover with water. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain. Mix sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Arrange alternating layers of carrots and apples in a 1-quart casserole dish, sprinkling layers with the sugar mixture. Dot with butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
