Serves 12

  • 6 cups Pictsweet frozen Cut Green Beans
  • 6 cups chicken broth (you may use water, if desired)
  • 6 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup pecans
  • Salt to taste


Place frozen green beans in a saucepan and cover with chicken broth or water. Bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes. Drain and add 4 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Toast pecans in 2 tablespoons butter for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees, stirring to prevent burning. Combine pecans with beans just before serving to maintain crispness.
