Serves 10

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 9 cups Pictsweet frozen Baby Brussels Sprouts

In a jar, beat eggs slightly with a fork. Add sugar, vinegar, water, dry mustard and pepper. Shake to blend and place, covered in a refrigerator until cold. About 30 minutes before serving, fry bacon and drain on paper towel. Reserve 4 tablespoons bacon grease. Reduce heat to low and add jar of sauce to reserved bacon grease. Simmer, stirring constantly until the sauce is thick. Place frozen Brussels sprouts and salt in saucepan. Cover with water. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Drain and set aside. Pour hot sauce over cooked Brussels sprouts and garnish with crumbled bacon.
