Broccoli and Goat Cheese Pizza

This is gourmet pizza without a lot of effort. Top a preheated crust or refrigerated or frozen pizza dough with these great toppings and wow the crowd!

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 (12 inch) prebaked pizza crust
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups Pictsweet frozen 3 Pepper and Onion Blend
  • 2 cups Pictsweet frozen Chopped Broccoli
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 ounce log goat cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place prebaked crust on baking sheet; set aside. If using refrigerated or frozen dough, pat or roll out to a 12 inch round on baking sheet and bake 10 minutes. In a large skillet, sauté frozen pepper and onion, broccoli, salt, oregano and pepper in oil until any liquid evaporates, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Crumble or finely chop goat cheese. Sprinkle 1/3 of cheese on crust and spread to cover center of round leaving a 1/2 inch border at the edge. With a slotted spoon, transfer vegetable mixture evenly onto crust. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top and bake until cheese has softened and crust has browned. Cut into 8 slices and serve.
