Creamy Peas with Mushrooms

Whipping cream is an easier alternative to making a white sauce for this velvety recipe.


Serves 6

  • 3 cups Pictsweet Green Peas
  • 1/2 cup Pictsweet Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup diced pimento
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar


Place frozen peas, frozen mushrooms, pimento and sugar in saucepan and cover with water. Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Drain. Add whipping cream and sugar and continue to cook 1 minute.
